Data permit

What does "Data permit" mean under the EHDS?

An administrative decision issued to a health data user by a health data access body to process certain electronic health data specified in the data permit for specific secondary use purposes, based on conditions laid down in Chapter IV of this Regulation

  • European Health Data Space (EHDS)

    The European Health Data Space Regulation is Regulation (EU) 2025/327. It applies from 26 March 2027, with patients' rights and EHR system rules from 26 March 2029 and 2031. The Netherlands plans a new Gezondheidsdata-autoriteit through the draft Wet GIS.
